Miles. is the acoustic outlet for York-based multi-instrumentalist, Michael Donnelly.

On new single ’16; My Delightful Inheritance’ (taken from the new EP, ‘Beauty For Ashes’ out on April 15 via Daddy Issues Records), Donnelly channels the passion and emotion of Benjamin Francis Leftwich, and Death Cab For Cutie at their most evocative and passionate.
Of the track’s inspirations he comments: “Death Cab shaped much of my musical upbringing; learning from their creativity and ingenuity made for wonderful foundations that I create from today. They’re an invaluable part of my past. BFL however, holds my future; what I want to achieve next. I aspire to his honesty and vulnerability and always keep it in mind working on the next thing and the next track. I like to think they both can lay claim to 16 in a many ways.”
Miles. will play the following spaces (with more to be announced) in support of the new single,  and the EP:
19/04 – The Crescent – York
29/04 – The Birdcage – Norwich
30/04 – The Blue Moon – Cambridge
07/05 – Servant Jazz Quarters – London
