Dom Smith has been working at Auden House in York, on behalf of City of York Council. Dom is continuing his work on York Stories 2012 and York 800 by collecting interviews and speaking to members of the elderly community.
Dom comments on York Stories 2012 and continuing his work: “It’s been a real pleasure to work at Auden House and collect interviews with some really interesting people. I’ve been collecting info alongside fellow journalist, Colm O’Rourke and members of the council – it’s always a lot of fun to collaborate and document stories. I feel a bit like an artist and historian – it’s definitely a cool feeling. I am looking forward to seeing how the project develops before we finish working on everything in December!”
